G'day Backers,
(That's Aussie for Hello!)
Our charge shipping phase got off to a bumpy start due to glitches in the Backerkit system. It set us back about a week and a half, but we are out the other side and on the home stretch.
A big thanks to all those Backers affected by the glitches, your understanding is truly worthy of a Wyld blessing!
We are giving Backers one more week to update payment information and finalize their Pledges before we LOCK all orders.
IF YOU DO NOT CONFIRM YOUR PLEDGE AND SHIPPING PAYMENT BEFORE 5PM ON FRIDAY 6th MARCH AWST (Australian Western Standard Time) YOU WILL MISS THE FIRST WAVE OF SHIPPING
If you complete or pay for your pledge after that date you will still get your game, but you will not be in the first shipping run.
What happens next?
We will be compiling our data files and submitting them to our fulfillment partners the following week.
Fulfillment partners have indicated a two (maybe) three-week scheduling window after which games will be shipped!

Dear Backers,
We have received word from a number of Backers that they did not receive their 48 hour notification email advising that shipping / tax charges are imminent.
This is an automatic email the system generates as a courtesy to let you know that in 48 hours shipping / tax charges will be charged.
We have contacted Backerkit but since its the start of the long weekend in the US we are unsure if we will get a response in time (we are based in Australia).
Since approximately 24 hours has already lapsed this is a further reminder that the shipping and tax charges will be processed in approximately 24 hours from now, around 2.45 pm Sunday 15th February, Australian Western Standard Time (AWST)
Not having received the notification does not affect your pledge in any way.
Please log into your Backerkit Pledge Manger and familiarise yourself with the breakdown of shipping and tax charges.
IMPORTANT
If you need to change your credit card details or address you will be able to do that through the shipping charge email which you will receive around 2.45 pm Sunday 15th February, Australian Western Standard Time (AWST)
If you are one of the Backers that did not receive the notification email, we are very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

To all our Heroes,
Drum roll please…
We have waited a long time for this day, to finally announce we are ready to charge for shipping and start the fulfillment process!!!
Please read the following carefully to understand what happens next:
In the next 24 hours you will receive a NOTIFICATION email from the Backerkit Pledge Manager advising the shipping charge is imminent.
It is important to note that it is just that, a NOTIFICATION, meaning this is a 48 HOUR notice allowing you to double check your PAYMENT and ADDRESS details before the charge is processed.
IMPORTANT
In the NOTIFICATION email you can access the link that will allow you to UPDATE any PAYMENT and ADDRESS details.
Please deal with any update promptly so as not to cause any further delay getting your game shipped.
Here are key details regarding the final stages:
PAYMENT WINDOW
Once we charge shipping there will be stragglers. We need to allow some time for Backers to attend to payment. Whilst we will not unreasonable delay fulfilment waiting for stragglers it is unfortunately a reality that we have to wait for the majority of Backers to complete their pledge before we can book fulfillment.
This is because the fulfillment centres wait for us to provide them with the most up to date and accurate data file containing Backers who have paid for their shipping so they can set up their packing run for our games.
SHIPPING COST
We are using reputable fulfillment houses and providing the best shipping rates that they offer.
For the US the shipping charge includes the shipping cost + import tax contribution + any State tax. We have subsidised the tariff charge to keep it as low as possible, around $3 in most cases.
SHIPPING TIMELINE
Once we have provided the fulfillment houses our data files containing Backers who have paid for shipping, they will put us in their shipping schedule. We have given the fulfillment houses advance warning, but we may still have to wait a few weeks until our booking is slotted in.
ADDRESS CHANGES
As mentioned above there will be an opportunity to update your address when the charge shipping NOTIFACTION is sent out.
ALSO, there will be another opportunity when the fulfillment house is ready to ship your game. You will receive emails directly from the fulfillment house when shipping is imminent.
Production Update #15 January 2026

Dear Backers,
As we approach the final stage of our campaign, the charge for shipping and fulfillment, we thought we would give you an insight into this detailed process since it can be a lot more complex than many Backers realize. Especially when you are fulfilling a project of this size.
Like most projects we use a Pledge Manager (in our case Backerkit) that stores Backer details, shipping charges, tax rules and a host of other data. When we process our campaign, we do that for the entire world in one go. That means all the shipping rates, tax calculations, shipping weight rules etc. etc. must be entered for the entire globe, many countries, a lot of data, a big undertaking.
The data we enter must be up to date and current. In our case, shipping rates changed at the start of the year, mostly in North America. Thankfully they changed for the better (slightly) as most carriers add a small surcharge over the Holiday season that is then removed when the volume subsides.
This is not an easy process, it’s complex and there really isn’t any room for error.
So complex in fact, that during this process we came to the realization that it was beyond our expertise, this being our first large board game Kickstarter. So, knowing that we needed assistance, we had to seek a consultant to help us. Backerkit offers advice, but to a point. However, we needed someone with in depth knowledge of the nuances of shipping data across the world, its entry and verification. Finding a consultant, briefing them, coordinating data and access, cost us another week or so.
We mention this because we know Backers are eager for the game and believe us, we are even more eager to ship the game! We try to give an estimation of when things are likely to happen but there are unfortunately times when logistics add another week here and another week there.
Furthermore, once we are confident that our data is complete and ready to go we must submit a request to Backerkit for their review of our files and approval before we can proceed with charging for shipping. Depending on their workload we may have to wait extra days for this to occur.
No Creator wants to delay shipping their game. It costs us money each day the game sits in the fulfillment center. When you have games waiting to ship in warehouses around the world it costs you thousands of dollars in storage fees. Delays happen because there is another hurdle to jump, another external factor, another answer you are waiting for, another wait in a cue.
We anticipated charging for shipping “around” the end of January, we are not far off that estimate. Due to the factors described above that will roll into February. Hopefully by the end of the first week of February.
So, after shipping is charged what happens?
We must allow a few weeks (probably two) to allow Backers to make sure their payment details are up to date and funds clear. We know there will be stragglers and there will be super stragglers. We will not delay shipping due to stragglers, but we must ensure the great majority of Backers have paid for their shipping. This allows us to create a final database of Backers who have been confirmed as paid to send to our fulfillment centers.
To expedite the process, we request each Backer ensures that their credit card details are up to date in their Backerkit profile.
Failure to have up to date details or insufficient funds will delay the fulfillment of your pledge.
We are then put into the fulfillment queue, and the centers will ship when it’s our turn. In our previous update we estimated the game will ship late February. We are hopeful this is the case however the caveat is that for reasons described above in detail, we may be another week or two over that estimation depending on how quickly shipping payment from backers is finalized and we are not pushed forward in the queue by the fulfillment centers.
The games then have to be picked, packed, sent out to carriers and finally arrive at your door!
We understand some Backers are frustrated or compare us to other campaigns they have backed but we hope there is an understanding that each project is different, each with its own challenges and its own journey. Some projects are bigger than others, some project creators are more experienced than others, some companies use Kickstarter to churn out games one after the other and are well-oiled machines. We are not that company. This is our first large project, and we have had to navigate unprecedented difficult times to produce and deliver this game. Thank you sincerely for the unwavering support you have given us. We are very close; we do apologize if our timing estimates are not entirely accurate due to various factors.
A note on shipping addresses.
We have been accepting emails and processing requests to change addresses. However, there will be a point when each fulfillment center will take over. When this happens, you will receive an email from the fulfillment company in your territory asking if there are any final changes to your address.
You will hear from us again soon, we will give Backers 24 hours notice before shipping is due to be charged.
Production Update #14 (Mini) January 2026

Dear Backers,
Welcome to our mini update for January 2026.
Firstly, we wish you all a wonderful 2026 and would like to reinforce our sincere appreciation for the incredible patience and understanding you have shown as we continue working towards getting this great game into your hands.
If you would like more information regarding the factors contributing to the delay of this project please refer to the August, September and October 2025 Updates where we cover this in some detail.
Onward to more recent news...
We are in the final stages of preparing all our shipping charges and making sure all the correct mechanisms are in place to allow for VAT, import taxes and the other wonderful data that seems to make all of our lives more complicated than expected.
As stated in our December 2025 Update we are working towards shipping being charged late January and delivery to most territories to occur at some stage in February.
We’ve received some unexpected news from our Asia fulfilment partner. They have informed us that their operations will be closed from February 9th through March 3rd due to Chinese New Year and additional factors that have resulted in an extended shutdown. As a result of this closure, backers in Asia will now likely receive fulfilment in March. This news is very disappointing for us, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this causes.
We intend to send another update late January regarding the progress of shipping charges.
