Hello Backers!
PRODUCTION UPDATE
Thank you for your continued support, we know we are overdue for an update so we really appreciate your patience!
Unfortunately, we have hit a few frustrating bumps in the road that may cause some delay on shipping.
1. We commissioned three separate rounds of editing and proofreading to give us the best chance of delivering a game with consistency and accuracy. Going to this extra level of scrutiny and working with many time zones around the world added unforeseen time to this crucial stage of the game’s development.
2. This initial delay in our editing cycle has unfortunately had a domino effect further down the production and development line.
In board game publishing we usually have a stage where we inspect a full preproduction copy of the game before we press the big green button to go into mass production. The preproduction sample is essential to check the quality of every component ensuring that the game is ready to produce and test how it all fits into the box. We have just missed an important deadline to get this sample fully complete before the Chinese New Year. Because of this delay we will lose up to three weeks during which the factories are closed or in "go slow" mode.
There have been a few other minor delays along the way. In summary, we predict that at this stage we will ship around eight weeks later than expected. We fully understand that this is disappointing, and we desperately wanted to be one of those rare games that ship on time!!
We sincerely apologise for missing our projected delivery schedule of April 2025.
Fear not! The game will be better for it and the extra care gives us confidence that you will be very happy with the result.

One upside of this delay is that the Pledge Manager will be open a little longer for those Backers that have still not completed their surveys.

Behold the colours of Autumn (Fall)
As we enter our final phase of reviewing files before we go to print, we are excited to share our alternative map resplendent in shades of Autumnal beauty. The double-sided board was unlocked as a stretch goal for both the Standard and Collector's Editions thanks to the support of you, our awesome Backers.
Heroes can now kick their way through the leaves to glory!

Pledge Manager has been extended.
Due to the request of Backers, we are extending the cutoff of the BackerKit Pledge Manager. This will allow more time for folks to budget for when the campaign closes and shipping to be charged as well as giving stragglers more time to complete their survey.
The Pledge Manager for Armello: The Board Game will now be closing DECEMBER 31 2024.

Miniatures! (and the Pledge Manager closing soon)
Greetings Heroes!
Production is about to enter full swing as we finalise all the art assets.
Last month we shared a picture showing the 3D render lineup, now we can show you the molded prototypes! Our sculptor Greg May has done an awesome job at capturing the essence of each of these iconic personalities, you can really feel the rage and madness building in the King!!!
As soon as we have more component prototypes come down the pipeline we'll be sure to share them with you. :-)

Production Update #1

Molding Heroes!
We are happy to report that our production timeline is on schedule. We are currently finalising mold files and sending them to our manufacturing partner.
In this lineup you can see the scale of the miniatures in the game including our Collector's Edition bonus, Guppy!
These graphics are for reference only, the game miniatures will be coloured as seen in the Kickstarter.
As can be noted from the dates below, we are ahead of schedule for submitting manufacturing files. We want to get our miniature molds underway as soon as possible since finalising molds can take up to three or four months.
Final files preparation, art assets, proofing - end October 2024
Submit files for manufacture - October / November 2024
Manufacture and packaging - end February 2025
Shipping - March / April 2025
Fulfilment - April / May 2025
As we have more files and art assets to show off, we will give you a sneak peek over the coming months.
